The extra passive woofer extends bass to below 50 Hz and the 1″ tweeter is true world class, reproducing high frequencies with un-parallelled clarity and detail. 
 
C5 will entertain you on any program material for years and years, either as main speaker in middle sized rooms or as surround speaker for the C5TRM.
